Our history
Foundation and beginnings
The Baltic Yachtpoint company was founded in 2004 by Reik Eiselt. What began as a small sole proprietorship has developed over the years into one of the leading providers in the yachting industry. Reik Eiselt brought his passion for yachting and his many years of experience from various industries to the company in order to offer an incomparable service and exclusive yachting experiences.
Development and growth
In the early years, Baltic Yachtpoint focused not only on the sale and brokerage of used yachts, but also on “all-round boat” services. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and an excellent reputation for quality and reliability, the company grew. In 2018, the company became a GmbH, as larger new yachts were increasingly being traded. In 2020, the company moved from Rostock’s city harbor to its current location north of the Warnow with a small jetty.

An important milestone in our history has been the partnership with leading and diverse yacht builders and manufacturers as well as with other brokers and dealers across Europe. These collaborations have enabled us to offer our customers an even greater choice of first-class yachts. At the same time, we are committed to sustainability and are actively involved in protecting the maritime environment by integrating environmentally friendly technologies and practices in our operations.
